What happens on the demo call?
Thirty minutes. The first five: you tell us about your brokerage — load volume, current TMS, where carrier-email triage hurts most today. The next twenty: live walkthrough — either against a realistic seed inbox we maintain, or (if you'd rather) connected to a sandbox Gmail with FMCSA running live so you see real carrier data. The last five: pricing, deployment timeline, your questions. No deck.
Do I have to commit to anything?
No. The demo is a tour. After it, you have three options: start a paid pilot at $799/mo (30-day free trial, so the pilot literally costs nothing to start), wait, or pass. Most brokerages who book a demo decide on the call which of the three they want — we don't run a follow-up cadence on demos that pass.
Who from your team is on the call?
Shafay, the founder. Keelway is a two-person team, so you're not getting handed to a BDR after a discovery call — what you discuss on the demo is what gets built and supported.
What if we're not on Gmail?
You're covered. Keelway works with Gmail, Microsoft 365 (Outlook), and plain IMAP mailboxes — connect the one you already run, or route mail to your Keelway reply address without connecting anything. Bring whichever inbox your desk lives in and we'll demo on it.
What sizes of brokerage fit?
Sharpest fit: SMB brokerages with 3-30 dispatchers covering 50-300 loads/month. Mid-market 3PLs (25-200 brokers) fit the overlay deployment pattern documented on /case-studies/mid-market-mcleod-overlay. 1-2 person solo shops can absolutely use Keelway — plans start at $175/mo and no size is too small — but the demo is usually more useful once you're past the 50-loads/month threshold where triage actually hurts.
