The driver roster the settlement module reads from.
Driver records are the foundation under settlements, dispatch, and compliance. Get the rate structure right once, in one place, and weekly settlements compute themselves. Keelway's driver management module is that one place — roster, units, pay rates, active status, compliance link, all in a single record.

Frequently asked questions
What does the driver roster track?+
Driver name, assigned unit number(s), phone number, pay rate structure (per-mile loaded/all, hourly, flat, percentage), employment status (active/inactive), 1099 vs W2 classification, and a link to the compliance record (CDL, Med Card, MVR, Drug Test, Hazmat where applicable).
How does the pay rate configuration work?+
One default rate structure per driver, with per-load overrides supported (tarp pay, hazmat premium, detention, layover, stop-pay). The default flows into weekly settlements automatically; overrides apply on a per-load basis.
LoadStop import?+
Yes. Paste a LoadStop driver XLSX export and Keelway maps the columns. Other source-system imports (McLeod, Aljex, AscendTMS) work through the standard CSV import format documented in settings.
Can I deactivate a driver?+
Yes. Inactive drivers are removed from dispatch assignment options but retain their full history (settlements, loads, compliance docs) for tax filings and reference. Reactivating restores them to the dispatch pool.
